Hi everyone, my name is Naiara, but everyone calls me Naia. I’m from Madrid, Spain, but I currently attend a boarding school in CT. Once I got here I saw something that really surprised me. People here kind of scared to explore other cultures and other countries. They kept asking me all of these questions about how did I do it or if I didn’t miss home. My answer would always would be the same, “I do miss home but sometimes you need to sacrifice it for learning new things in different cultures.” What I would tell everyone is don’t be scared of things you are not use to, open new opportunities for your future and don’t be scared of change!!
